Dr. Jay Goble
Dr. Jay Goble has been practicing dentistry since
1971. A native of San Francisco, he completed his undergraduate
studies at the University of the Pacific. He attended Chicago College
of Dental Surgery at Loyola University and furthered his surgery
training through the United States Veteran's Administration Hospital
in Martinez.
He focuses on comprehensive patient care, with a special devotion
to laser, cosmetic
and sedation dentistry.
Dr. Goble spends a great deal of time with continuing education,
especially in the area of new dental technology. He believes that
patient education is the most important aspect of practicing modern
dentistry. Digital x-rays and digital video imaging are two new
technologies he uses, allowing him to communicate more effectively
with his patients.
Dr. Goble is a member of the Academy of Laser Dentistry,
American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Contra
Costa Dental Society, and the International Congress of Oral Implantology.
He resides in San Ramon with his wife, Meg. They are actively
involved in community affairs and enjoy outdoor activities, like
hiking, fishing, and camping. He is also a diving enthusiast and
avid underwater photographer.
