After serving as a dentist in the Sierra Nevada Health System’s Veterans Affairs facility, our very own Dr. Cheng Zhu realized that coming in to visit the dentist can be challenging for seniors and people with physical disabilities.
Using his insights from that experience, Dr. Zhu has worked to design a mobile dental clinic service that’s specifically meant to support people with mobility challenges. Combined with Dr. Zhu’s background in both pharmacology and dentistry, it’s a unique dental service that delivers tremendous benefit to Pleasant Hill’s community of seniors.

That’s correct – because of limited capacity, our mobile dental clinic service is only available to seniors, those with physical disabilities, and other people with limited mobility.
The hours of our mobile dental clinic are more limited than our regular dental clinic hours. Mobile appointments are only available on Fridays from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, so please try to book your appointments well in advance.
